The short version: AdFree is free software provided as it is, you may use it as you like, and there is no warranty.
Using AdFree
AdFree is a free browser extension. You may install it, use it and uninstall it on as many of your own devices as you like, for personal or business use, at no cost. There is no licence to buy and no account to create.
No warranty
AdFree is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Filtering the web is a moving target: advertising networks change hostnames, and video platforms change their players. AdFree makes a genuine effort to keep up, but it cannot promise that every ad will be blocked, that no legitimate page element will ever be affected, or that the extension will be available without interruption.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author of AdFree is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising out of the use of, or inability to use, the extension or this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Acceptable use
Do not use AdFree to break the law, to circumvent access controls or paywalls, or in a way that interferes with other people's use of a service. Do not redistribute modified copies under the AdFree name.
Third-party services
AdFree is distributed through browser extension stores operated by other companies. Your installation of it through those stores is also subject to their terms. This site links to pages we do not control and is not responsible for their content.

Chrome and the Chrome Web Store are trademarks of Google LLC. Microsoft Edge is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. Firefox is a trademark of the Mozilla Foundation. YouTube, Twitch and TikTok are trademarks of their respective owners. AdFree is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them; those names are used here only to describe what the extension works with.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the date at the top of the page shows when they last were. Continuing to use AdFree after a change means you accept the updated terms.
